Anyone watching Carnival Rewards after last week’s launch?

I haven’t been on Carnival since the switch, but I’ve watched enough loyalty “improvements” over the years to know the first month is usually foggier than the Lido pool deck at dawn. The part I’m curious about is not the headline, it’s the back end: how quickly those rewards points post, whether hosts can explain it the same way from ship to ship, and if the mailers start looking any different by winter. Back in the old days every line swore the new system would be simpler, and somehow it took three sailings to decode. If anybody’s been on since Sept. 1, did the casino desk seem confident explaining it?
I haven’t sailed since the launch, but I did spend a little time poking through Carnival’s help pages because Gene asked me what on earth the difference was between stars and rewards points. My plain-English read is stars look tied to status tracking, while rewards points are what’s left at the end and can be used in that separate rewards bucket. That “left at the end” part is what I want clarified onboard. If somebody has sailed already, did the casino desk explain whether those points showed up during the cruise or only after?
I haven’t been on since the change, but I did read the same language and my first reaction was that this could matter most for people who split time between casino play and the broader loyalty program. Not necessarily in a dramatic way, just in how visible the connection feels. What I’ll be watching is whether the onboard account screens make any of it easy to follow day by day, or if it stays something you have to piece together afterward.
If anyone has sailed since launch, were stars or rewards points visible anywhere in the hub app or kiosk during the cruise?
