The part that jumped out at me for this crowd is that casino play is now tied in more directly: Carnival’s help pages say you earn 1 Carnival Rewards Point for every 1 casino point left at the end of the sailing. I also read a recent loyalty-program roundup that noted casino activity is part of the broader new setup. My first reaction is that a lot of us are going to be watching the real-world reports pretty closely over the next few sailings. Not whether anything is guaranteed, obviously, but just how the tracking feels onboard and whether offers or status-chasing behavior changes at all. If that’s right, I’d want three data points from early reports: final casino-point balance onboard whether any points were redeemed during the cruise how many Rewards Points actually post That should tell us fast whether it’s based on gross earning or ending balance. Also curious if table-game players see anything odd here versus slots/VP, since Carnival’s tracking has never felt totally transparent to me.
