Saw a genuinely current item in Cruise Industry News from September 3: Margaritaville at Sea expanded its Casino Players Club benefits, with the updated perks bookable now for sailings starting October 1. The part that caught my eye was the offer-match angle, where players with offers from other cruise lines or land casinos can submit those for consideration instead of starting from zero.
That is interesting to me because smaller programs usually have to get creative if they want to pull in experienced casino cruisers. On paper, offer match sounds player-friendly, but the real question is how generous the actual reinvestment ends up being once you are onboard and rated in their system.
Anybody here tried Margaritaville yet, or thinking about using a match as a test run? I would be curious how their onboard casino compares on table limits, smoke situation, and how quickly they seem to value play.
