Allure of the Seas Opens a Much Larger Nonsmoking Casino

Allure of the Seas has opened a significantly larger nonsmoking casino on Deck 4, expanding a trend that has been moving across Royal Caribbean's fleet.

Royal Caribbean Blog reported on August 22, 2026 that construction walls had come down around the new space. The project converted the former Blaze nightclub and Comedy Live venues into an open casino area spanning both sides of the deck, with a walkway through the middle.

What is inside the new area

The expanded section is entirely nonsmoking and is made up primarily of slot machines, with a smaller number of table games. Allure already had a smaller nonsmoking casino in the former Jazz on 4 location, which was converted in 2023. The latest work greatly increases that footprint.

The ship's original casino remains in place. That means guests should pay attention to which casino section they enter if avoiding smoke is important to them; the new area is the one specifically reported as fully nonsmoking.

Entertainment spaces changed

The expansion came with a tradeoff. Blaze and Comedy Live were removed to make room for the casino. Nightlife programming has shifted toward Dazzles on Deck 8, while the reporting indicated that Allure may no longer have its previous dedicated adult-comedy venue.

Anyone booking partly for a favorite lounge or show should check the current deck plan and entertainment schedule rather than relying on older ship reviews.

A wider Royal Caribbean pattern

Allure is not the only Royal Caribbean ship receiving more casino space. Similar projects have been reported aboard Symphony and Harmony of the Seas, while Ovation of the Seas received a nonsmoking casino in the former Music Hall. Legend of the Seas launched with an additional casino level connecting Decks 3 and 4.

For casino travelers, the growth of dedicated nonsmoking spaces creates more choice. For everyone else, it also changes how familiar public areas are used. Checking a current deck plan is increasingly important when comparing ships that may have looked very different only a year or two earlier.
